How do you know when to confront? Do you have to have evidence? I'm very suspicious. Has anyone hired a PI? Is that a good way to go? What is the "best way" to uncover what is really going on? I feel so detached from my wife. I'm tired of the speculation. I can't sleep at night. I can't make love to my wife. I can't function at work. This is killing me. What do I do? Someone, please help!

Good evening Sad,
Sorry you are here, but glad you found us. I am in the beginning throws of this myself, but just take a minute and breathe.
Now all VETS will have some good advice, but they are going to need more information than what you have provided. What specifically has she done to raise your suspicions? What proof do you have??
We can help, we just need a little bit more information than you have provided. Give us your story. Also, check out the this site and all the useful information from Dr. Harley.

Do you have evidence of an affair? Generally speaking, you wouldn't want to confront unless you had evidence because if they are having they would just deny it. How does she explain her withdrawal? What has been happening on your marriage?

Sorry that you're dealing with problems in your M. You can get some great help here, though. Won't make the issues go away, but you can get some good advice for dealing with what you're facing.
It was a difficult process for me to decide to find out what was going on with my H. I still haven't confronted him yet because I don't have everything completely lined out yet. I'm also having trouble getting the nerve to do it. I was able to get his cell phone records and pinpoint times when he may have seen her, but I don't have proof of a PA. I hired a PI, but so far there's been no meeting so wasted money there for now.
I encourage you to read the snooping 101 thread for ideas on how to find out what's going on. From there you will get great advice on what to do when you know the truth.
