My husband is in Iraq and is talking to another woman via email. They are talking about seeing each other if the relationship grows. My husband in an email to her told her he was looking for fun on the outside. He tells me all the time to tell my friends who have been cheated on to leave the guy. We told each other years ago that if one of us wanted to cheat then it was over to tell the person. He is acting like nothing is going on. I do not know if he has cheated on me in the past, but I do know for a fact what he has been saying to this woman. We just got off the phone and he told me that when he gets back, he'll want to take some time for himself since he's around people all the time in Iraq. I think that is when he is going to try to see her. What do I need to do?

Sorry you are here, but welcome. You are in the right place. You are going to learn a lot of new things and receive wonderful advice.I am a little new here so I will stay out of it, but will be keeping up with your situation. Almost everyone here has dealt with these situations. I am a former servicemember, and I can relate to what he may be experiencing.

You will just need to hang tight for now, read, read, read and listen to the folks here. This site will become a huge eye opener for sure!

Also, do absolutely NOTHING at this point. Just prepare.

Give us a timeframe of coming stateside?

Good luck!

Do not give up your information source without very good reason! That is an incredible advantage!

What do you know about OW? Is she married? Presumably she is military as well?

I know she is in a relationship for over 5 years with the same person (not my husband). She is not military. He will be home in less than 6 months.
