My husband and I went on vacation 1 week after D-Day(pre-planned). The OW attempted to call his cell phone more than 50 times in the 1st week. We finally decided together that I would answer the next time she called. I picked up the phone, said, "Hello *****, this is WH2LE, I know everything, don't call again." She hung up without speaking. She tried to call a few more times that night but then not for the rest of the vacation .

We changed his cell number as soon we got home. For a few months she attempted to make some phonecontact but it finally petered out.

We hadn't read SAA yet, but a NC letter waouldn't have had the dramatic effect it should because the OW doesn't speak much English.

Is it possible to just wait her out? I know this isn't always the most popular idea but sometimes it works.

The letter is the most effective method because neither BS or WS has to speak to the OW and it leaves with the OW with a LETTER in her hand. She can't romanticize or rewrite history with that letter in her hand. That is why Dr. Harley recommends it.
