Reverse fog babble experts - what would your come back be?

My WH is driving me bonkers wi the fog babble. I've been trying not to take his calls. One of the things he keeps asking me is:

"give me one reason this will work out?"

about our M. I have spotted off a series of answers in the past but ca nseem to get the point across.

What should I respond back with now?

"You're right, it will never work?"
