One of the ways my wife and I have reconnected is to carve out a week every year to hike on the Appalachian Trail.
A week hike is around 100 miles for us. some of the elements that binds is the seclusion, no modern noises, we have to reach a goal together carrying our food, shelter and water on our backs. Since the trail is 2100 miles long - we explore a new segment every year.
Just an idea for those wondering on how to reconnect and stay in shape.
