Just out of curiousity, do WH come back to the marriages more often than WW or is it the other way around?? It just seems to me going by the threads on here that WW come back more often than the WH do. Of course, it could be that there seem to be more women that post here than men. Just kind of wondering.....

I think I read something about that in Not Just Friends... I'll have to see if I can find it. I'm pretty sure it said that WW come back more often than WH.

I actually thought it was the other way around. The main reasons being that WH do not tend to get as emotionally entrenched in their A's and also have more of a sense of responsibility to the family (in a "provider" sense).

WWs seem to be more emotionally involved and willing to throw everything away because they are led by their feelings.

I could be way off base here (BTW--this is not meant to bash women--I was a WW after all!)

I get the impression that it's actually WHs that come back more often than WWs. This seems to be because men generally attach more significance to the commitment they made and thus feel guiltier. Also, they miss the ENs that the BS was providing and bargain/beg the BS to keep providing them. Just my observation from reading the boards and listening to the radio show.

This is a great question... I'm currious what the answer is... And if there's any data supporting it...

I remember reading somewhere that the divorce rate is quite higher when the W's the one that cheated, but I can't remember the source of that statistic.
