My H and I own our own business and each has a computer plus several more linked on a network. We use Outlook and an exchange server to handle our email. I can have my H's computer archive his files to my pc but they are saved in .pst format. What program do you use to open .pst files? Also is checking windows history files and temporary internet files the only way to monitor web activity without buying additional software. I would love to retrieve deleted emails but I don't know how....help.

Dear zombie:
You use OUTLOOK to import *.pst files back into your mail folders. Go to "files" then to "import" , then "import from another program" (next) then choose *.pst folders and restore your archive.
To see stuff that got deleted, go to the cache files usualling in the Windows directory sub directory " temporary internet files or Internet Mail. find "deleted mail" and use notepad to read the text files.
If you are using Exchange on a server, then the server will have "all" email archived and stored. You have to go into the server and check the configuration to see where the old mail files are being stored. You can then use the "restore" feature to recover the old mail. You can delete mail from the client but it won't delete it from the server unless you do that too.
Flip
