HMMMM..... As I think back on it, I know I WANTED to hit him but I didn't. However, he was in bed, determined to go back to sleep and I hit the mattress in front of him. You know...I smacked my hands down as hard as I could on the mattress in front of him. No response from him except to close his eyes and be a real pr****. (If you knew me you would not even believe that I could THINK about using that word.)

Husband was unfaithful to me before and after our marriage, at least 7 times. I found out 13 yrs into the marriage. Trickle truth for an entire year. Several different d-days, so it was more like a d-year. Difficult recovery.

Oh also, later that day, I told him that if he ever dared to use his cell phone again that I would run it under the tires of my car and smash it into a zillion pieces.(My DD laughed out loud when I told her that.)

ok, I had to vote in both polls to represent BOTH MARRIAGES. In the one that ended in 1999, I beat him up on the side of the road when I caught him with the OW. I tried to beat up the OW, too, but she locked the door and yelled "you b*tch! you b*tch". Funny, I kinda thought the same thing about her since she was having an affair with my H, but that is jes me bein' judgemental! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> H jumped in his truck and ran to the police station for protection, crying for help.

After we got back home, I DID smack him across the face ONCE (about 4 days after D day) when he answered a very personal question in a way that made me want to kill him .... after hitting him , I flew into a rage and took down the Christmas tree - with my feet - I kicked the tree to death, knocking it over and just screaming my lungs out - then I got in the car and left for 3 days - good choice on my part ! <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/grin.gif" alt="" /> We are 12 years into recovery - now he rocks my world (if ya know what i mean <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" /> )

I got in the car and left for 3 days - good choice on my part Probably a smart move... I've had to do that a few times... before D-Day <img src="/ubbt/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />
