It's NOT your negative issues, STILL.

You are WONDERFUL and FUNNY.

We can learn from YOU.

It's MY OWN NEGATIVITY that is RISING...

I'm going out for awhile...

Let it be known that you are certainly invited to stay...

You can post anywhere you want to, anyways...

I don't own this thread or the forum...

Like I said before, I was just ASKING...

Oh, I am getting so bad with you guys turning me into a girly-girl. I guess I was sort of a girly-girl...(or is it girlie-girl? LOL!)...before but I had to be tough, too, because on Mom's side of the family it was always "all about the boys" with the older folks.

Well I say bs to that!! So I had to do everything any male could do and better!

And lucky for me...genes allowed me to get away without wearing make-up.

Now...it's every day, even when I don't leave the house!! Although once in an itty-bitty while I might forego the make-up when I absolutely KNOW I am staying put INSIDE and working! LOL!

Now with the dancing ramping up I'm looking at all the pretty dance clothing and I dress every day in something nice, no warm-ups! I couldn't tell you the last time I set leg in those!! Never the sweatshirts, though, the necks are way too tight. Usually with a t-shirt, sometimes a tank top. But no more!

I've been shopping more than once and my wardrobe looks better and better. Plus my Doberman's paralegal steering towards this fantastically HUGE thrift store and a lot of items in there still have the original tags attached!

I'm currently on the hunt for the PERFECT dress to wear to court when we go back in May. Which will most likely end up being on my birthday or our anniversary...but my Doberman set me straight on that...those are LUCKY days!!! Heck yeah!!!

So I need something to show just enough of dancer's legs but not TOO short. Refined, ladylike, but still sexy!!

I just HAVE to be "to die for" when we go back!!!

Frankly, I DID have that look the first time. I was the butterfly while Slag had some homely looking thing on. And Mr. Gray had a wrinkled shirt and all.

Well, I will look even better this time. He will be catching flies, doggone it!! He'll have to physically reach up to push his jaw back together!!!

I've been using the mineral make-up and I'm sorry I didn't come back sooner because I know some Goddesses were wondering about it.

And I know I'm preaching to the choir with some of you that already use it. MAN!!! I LOVE IT!!!!

I recommend it happily, joyously!!!! Yes, yes, yes!!!!

I've been carded...when was the last time THAT happened? LOL! I don't know!!!

My vet's receptionist thought I was 10 years younger than my age when I told her how old I was.

And I've had tons of other comments about it. Is it only the mineral make-up? No, I think there are other factors as well. But I HAVE been taking better care of my skin than I ever have. Plus, losing the vodka helped too, LOL!! (Though I have heard it's great for tightening pores when applied topically!!)

I have been using a cream from a place that gets their goodies from the Dead Sea. Wow, it really is great, too.

But the mineral make-up? A++++++++++++++++++++, and then some!!!!

I found a new way to wear my hair, too, which is no small feet because it is nearly to my knees again. This is after I started trimming it last year about an inch or so every day after D-Day.

Yeah, Mr. Gray griped about my hair. Too long. Follicle envy? Probably.

It used to be about 3 or 4 inches from my ankles but really it DID need to be trimmed. I just couldn't go to a salon and get a whole foot whacked off at once.

So I did it my way. LOL! I toyed with the idea of cutting it all but I thought that was a bit drastic. And for what? The alien? It wouldn't have made any impression on him. Maybe for 30 seconds.

After all, when I was trying to look good every day for my self esteem I was dubbed the "Stepford" wife by one of them. I don't know who brought it up. Probably him since Slag didn't watch movies before 1980 before the two of them started going at it.

Well, he's going to regret it. Maybe he already does. He will for sure by May. LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL!!!!

So crazy, I'm actually looking FORWARD to this!! Plus, he thinks it will be the end of us. Little does he know that it won't be!!! LMAO!!!

Hee-hee!!! Not by a long shot!!!!

wink

Charlotte...your hair is REALLY that long??? WOW! I've always wondered how do you keep it from getting knotted? Very Impressive.

Charlotte, you have really made progress.

Have you ever considered having a portion of your hair cut for donation to an organization which makes wigs for women who are ill? Pantene has a program called "Great Lengths" which requires only 8 inches and provides wigs to women with various forms of cancer. Locks Of Love requires 10 or 12 inches and they serve girls who have lost hair for any of a number of reasons.

Hi mvg!

Yeah. Well, normally I wear it up in a partial twist while the rest swings free. Sometimes I braid it, I can still do a regular braid in it. I can't do a French braid in it anymore, though, my arms get too tired. LOL!

Once in a great while I wear it down but it usually gets slammed in car doors and hung up on doorknobs and chairs that have arms so having it up is the way to go!

Hi cinderella!

Thank you!

Yes, I have. My sister did that very thing just last year. I almost did but it would have been for the wrong reasons. It would have been to get attention from Mr. Gray. Not that it would have made a bit of difference. So I opted to keep my hair. Well, originally my sister was going to shave her head after she donated but she didn't. I did think long and hard about it, though.

But then I thought about the Manson girls shaving their heads and "X-ing" themselves out of this world along with Charlie. I didn't like that comparison so I kept my hair.

I may do that someday but in order to do so you have to get a lot of dead ends trimmed off first. I think my sister kept hers trimmed for a few months before she could actually finally donate.

I don't remember what other rules there are. But anyway, that's the story!

I'm about 3 inches from Pantene's minimum if I wish to keep my hair the length I want it. I'm trying to decide if I can survive that long before I cut it. My hair is sooooooo fine that it doesn't look good at it's current length so this is a hard decision for me.

It's a beautiful morning in the Pacific Northwest. These are why we go through 10 months of grey for days like this.

Three days and no postings... Ladies... are we all taking care of ourselves GODDESS style? I surely hope so. We ALL deserve it.

This GODDESS is wearing a velvety outfit in black and gold. Very soft, very elegant, very nice. Many compliments. smile

My hair is growing longer and I am pulling it back, however it definetly needs a color job. I'm on vacation next week, one thing I will take care of.

I did the DOMESTIC GODDESS this morning, cleaning up the apt before I left.

Still need to get the make up on, but do have some lipstick and that tan of mine.

And everyone else?

Well how does it get its stars?

We can't boycott, not until we look at all the avenues for changes.

You can 'rate this topic' with different stars at the top of the each page...NOT when you're replying just reading.

I'm wondering if the ratings have to do with how many people post and don't rate???? I've rated it five stars but we're still showing only 2?!

Let's start a rate this thread campaign!!!

I've been keeping up with my Goddess routine of pampering myself AND we bought new furniture! smile smile NOW I can feel really Goddessey sitting on the new loveseat! wink
