Was wondering if anyone could give me advice on what to expect on the first visit to the marriage councelor? Me and husband have our first session in 2 days. What questions do they ask? Just wondering I am a little nervous. I feel that this is our last ditch effort to save our marriage. Any feedback would be appreciated.

I can only tell you about my first session:
1) "The M will not work out if a third party continues to be involved."
2) "What do you both want to do?"
3) "What did the BS do that made the M vulnerable to an A?"

#3 is a big one and is still being addressed in our sessions. While my FWW believes I have made the changes that made her feel unappreciated and vulnerable, it takes work to avoid falling back into old habits.

In my case, we would not be in recovery if it weren't for the MC. My WW was in withdrawal and was literally persuaded to move back in the house. Time and a good Plan A brought her from staying away to missing me while away.

Best of luck to you and yours.
