Hi am 27 years old, and have been married for almost 7 years now. I am living in Ireland since 2 years and my husband is here since 3 years. We have 2 sons , 3yrs old and 5 months old.I recently discovered some text messages on my husband's mobile telling soneone else that he misses her. when I confronted him, in the beginning he denied it. He said that it was just a joke but when I insisted he admitted that he has sent these txt to someone and that he never met her. She is in the UK. He says that he knows her for 4 years now but its only during these 6 months that they have started to sentexplicit txt to each other. I was shattered when I heard this. he said that it was out of frustration he did such a thing and that he is extremely sorry. But I don't think that they haven't met. My husband is a doctor and he usually travels to uk for exams for weekends. I feel so much pain, how can I trust him now? Even when he is with me I feel insecure. I have that girl's phn number and I once tried to phn her, but she rejected my call. My husband hasn't told me anything about her. I just feel lost. Help me plzzzz

I'm sorry you find yourself here but welcome to MB.

First take a deep breath. If you haven't already, start reading the articles here especially surviving infidelity.

Your H's denial is unfortunately normal. Your insecurity is also. HOWEVER things CAN change! Your H's sorrow is a good point if sincere.

READ all you can here this will give you a good starting point on ways to address your issues and his.

Has your H answered as to WHY he was/is so frustrated? Have you asked questions and how has he responded?

IMO it would be best to read Dr. Harley's articles before discussing this with you H again. You will be better prepared in what some of the typical responses are, how most BS's react, and ways to overcome or at least hold at bay your feelings until the first shockwaves have subsided.

Ask questions here. Vent here. READ here. MBers are great resources!

And remember BREATH!
