I was a GODDESS this weekend. I went on a shopping spree for ME on my birthday. I bought some capris, cute frilly shirts, and two pairs of sandals. I didn't shop for ANYONE ELSE...just me! Then I made sure that I was dressed in a really cute outfit when DH picked me up from the airport (I went to visit my parents for the weekend). Dolt didn't pick up on my fabulousness...but that's ok. I FELT FABULOUS!

just my thought here...but I wouldn't think that Goddesses would concern themselves with something so meaningless as the number of stars on their thread.

just my thought here...but I wouldn't think that Goddesses would concern themselves with something so meaningless as the number of stars on their thread. Goddesses are aware that perceptions can create their own reality. We strive to be lovely in every way, and then to get credit for that.

mkeverydaycnt it's a matter of the stars representing a GREAT source for BS's (women mostly here) to gain some confidence. As I'm sure you're aware, most BS's have a confidence issue after being betrayed.
This MAY sound petty to you, but for us regaining any control over emotion, how WE feel about ourselves, etc. IS WORTHY FOR OTHERS in the same boat to regain themselves. Ya know the whole refocus on changing 'self'?!
How is rating this thread any different from other beneficial threads that are highly rated?
We are not pompous diva's but GODDESSES wanting to get the word out that ANYONE can be a Goddess.

How is rating this thread any different from other beneficial threads that are highly rated? exactly my point. Perhaps I have just missed it, but I don't ever recall anyone else ever making a big deal out of the number of stars that a particular thread was given..or a call out to thread participants to vote in order to bump of the star count as though something so arbitrary speaks to the quality of the people on the thread. Thanks for trying to explain where you are coming from. I for one would strongly suggest that if even the smallest amount of your self worth is derived from star ratings on an internet forum, that you are selling yourself short.

This is worthy of comment. ...because I want to stand by my belief in STANDING TALL and SPEAKING MY TRUTH. I think this is EXEMPLARY of what we want to EXUDE as GODDESSES. I will not argue, though. It is my goal to steer away from NEGATIVITY. This was an ATTACK on MY PERSONAL REQUEST which speaks to WHO I AM, what I like, what I believe in.... I AM WHO I AM...and there is no one else like me...
