<BR>First subject, my birthday.<P>Well, he came home from work today with a beautiful new bike for me, "So the family can all ride together". (Biking has always been just the kids and my H. cause I didn't have a bike). <P>It is the most thoughtful, beautiful present I couldv'e imagined, yet I never would have asked for it. <P>His lunch plans for tomorrow? Well he'll be eating in a hospital bed instead of with the OW and co-workers. An old wound has gotten really infected and he'll spend a few days on intravenous antibiotics, maybe have surgery. So much for a touching farewell with the OW at work!<P>God's sense of humor: I find it very funny that I spent all that mental energy fretting about the next few days when I should have been a) studying for mid-terms, b) praying that his leg would heal.<P>No disrespect intended, but as an old friend used to say, "God is a very funny guy"<P>------------------<BR>When you go through deep waters and great trouble, I will be with you. You got to love this. Kind of like Lor's H's friend/roommate dating the OW, so can't move back with him. God does have sense of humor. No doubt.

I totally agree and admit I had to chuckle when I read that <P>God is a funny guy. I've thought the same myself lately. When we're doing what's right (and I am speaking from the side of a betrayer who is trying to put her marriage back together) God blesses us. I believe that.
