Why is it that a FWH is an uncaring pile of trash if he won't have sex with his willing BW, but a FWW who won't have sex with her BH must "need more time" or require more "affection"?
Am I way off-base in thinking that both genders should be expected to use the same rulebook?

My answer, Nope.
In my case, I like some affection to get me going, though. I don't just wanna perform, like some circus freak. I wanted to be treated with care and respect, regardless of who was wayward in our relationship. I wasn't trying to USE the wayward tag as some get out of recovery free card. Just my humble opinion, and I'm not saying you are doing this.
I didn't expect my WH to perform without wanting it. HE didn't, and I wasn't about to MAKE HIM. Ew. Not for me.
Our marriage is over, partly because he didn't wanna. Just how it goes.

Where does THIS POINT OF VIEW come from? I don't know if I agree with it. That's why I was confused when you said this on the other thread.

Personally I think it is because of some emotional issues. A woman who has a loving husband and withholds sex has some "issues". Of course, she never seems to consider that if she didn't put out, the affair partner would have dumped her in a hurry.

I don't feel this way at all. To me, once either wayward spouse has committed to recovery then they should be doing what they can to meet the needs of their partner. Both partners should do that.
