My H is still having an affair. He refuses to give her up. My mother-in-law, my comrad in infidelity-busting, has read me letters that the OW has written to him and they are extremely sexually intimate. I try to keep the pleasant home environment when he visits, but he is extremely distant and very open about not wanting a marriage relationship with me. I feel like a little kid running after her mommy begging for candy. He pushes me away and I have to keep smiling. My mother-in-law tells me to tell him off. Whenever I say something that sets him off, he threatens to move to Kansas, where the OW lives (about 1500 miles away from the kids and I). I know I've written this several times. I just need my weekly moral support.

Kate:
I share your feelings. I have not concrete proof other that "intuition" but I also suspect my H is still involved with OW. At least you can say that your "problem" lives 1500 miles away. Mine doesn't. She is at the same company with H which makes things more difficult. I cannot run to my mom or anyone in my family. They don't know nor do I feel like sharing this humiliating tale. Believe me, I am at the point where I am ready to tell him to "take a hike".

Kate,
hang in there, unfortunetly this things have to run their course. Keep on loving him and don't tell him off as he will use that as justification for what he is doing and my leave for Kansas.
I gave my w an ultimatium and she about knocked me down leaving. I also called her names and not that the affair is over she still remembers what I said and does hold that against me and is now somewhat reluctant to move home.
So I would recommend that you don't argue and fight with him. You also need to find out why you two started to separate and work on your part of the equation so that he wants to stay home(I'm not saying it was your fault, but you are part of the equation).
Get moral support where ever you can. That is what helped me got thru this mess I'm in.
Hang in there and turn to the Lord !!
