This evening, I do have my choice of functions. I need to go to fundraiser at son's school.
And, I am the designated adult to accompany my daughter and a horde of her friends when they go from their prom to play laser tag at a place a few blocks away. Gonna be a really crowded night in an area full of tourists and celebrating runners. So, I get to be the adult in the group. So, how do you dress to go from a fiesta themed dinner/dance/auction to prom to laser tag?

Patent leather doesn't really call me. It's cool but I remember, as a 12 or 14 year old, the hard work that went into keeping my couple-of-seasons-old black patent leather shoes looking shiney.
I did, however, treat myself to a new cell phone today. It's the first NEW phone I've ever had. And I got what I wanted!!!! A light blue Chocolate with an MP3 player, chaperone feature, camera, speaker phone, and it's a slider.
Mimi, have you figured out Lucy yet? Lucille Ball as Lucy Ricardo in "I Love Lucy".

I have the same phone, cinderella. It's taken some getting used to, since the last phone I had was a flip, but i like it. Same color and everything.

OH goodness, What is the ? Similar to a GPS feature. The cool thing is, I got my daughter the free phone to which I was entitled so we will have same company's service and can call each other free. I could get a family plan for much less than two individual plans would cost. I am notorious for losing phones - but, I've never had one I liked. Our phones will be able to locate each other. So, if one of us gets stranded on the highway, the other one would know where to find them....or if I lose my phone, she can tell where it is.

It's very COOL I had never had a sports car as a young lady, and when the time came to get a new car, I jumped on it. Not a day goes by that I don't appreciate the purchase.

What's with all this talk about cars lately?
MY sports car is at station wagon. I have named it a sports car because I need it for all outdoor activities I like to do. Not very stylish but if I have to choose between stylish and having fun I will always go for the fun.
By the way, I washed my car today and cleaned it inside. It is so much nicer to step in to a sparkling clean car.
