I regret that I must decline to share email with members. While I do post off this board to others, I have exchanged only one or two emails, and then had to cancel that account due to safety concerns.
Because emails can be traced to place of origin, and the very certain risk of a troll who is currently present on the board and posting under a username not yet detected by the mods, I just don't feel safe about that. There is also a former member who has done some things off the boards which resulted in some unsafe Internet activity, and I'm sure you can understand the need for safety.
Maybe the person you are trying to help can come here and get help by posting their question? I would be happy to try to help if they were to post to this thread, or if you were to post the question under your username. We could also deal with it as a hypothetical, if that person were to prefer.

That's ok SB, I got some responses and I think we're ok. I totally understand why you wouldn't want to give out your email. I'd forgotten about that person. Thanks tho.
I wish I could give you more info on the boards but it just wouldn't be wise. Sorry for being cryptic, I know it bothers ppl and I'm really not playing any games. This thread can fall off the 1st page now.
BTW I was able to edit my post above, so that seems to work.
