So weird you all having Mothers Day now, and its monday morning for me already smile
My girls bought me a cup of tea in bed, made me a card with a really sweet if somewhat graphic peom about the cleaning up a mother does in it, and a rose sourced from church.
Oh yeah, i have a cup of tea addiction, so i also had a promise that my cup would be full all day. It did get dangerously low a few times, but otherwise was good.
Thank you men for your wishes, your true gentlemen.
P.S. Is there a budding romance I see??? wink

budding romance?? budding flirtation maybe.. although nuptials were mentioned at one time and lists for invitations being made...

First of all, many thanks to MEDC for the warm Mother's Day wishes! smile I had a wonderful day with Mr. W and our dd8...Mr. W sent me sunflowers and bought me a beautiful David Yurman diamond necklace to match the ring he gave me on my last birthday...Our dd8 gave me a gorgeous watercolor that she painted and a lovely poem that she wrote...We just got back from eating an incredible meal...I couldn't have asked for a more blessed day! cool

And YESSSSSS mlhb...I was a witness to the WHOLE MEDC ENCHILADA!!! He better be restin' good since he's got lots of work to do tomorrow, if he wants to make you "melt like yak butter on a toasted goat horn"...***That saying is courtesy of our 8 year old resident drama queen 'round here*** grin Hope you have a wonderful birthday! smile

Thanks MEDC.

Much different this year than last year....amazing where a year can take you.

Hope you had a nice day, too.

Thanks. Me, too.

It was a tough day for me yesterday. Last Mother's Day was one of the worst days of my entire life. He was evil on that day. I suspect it's another one of those memories I have etched into my mind, and he has it blocked from his. There are some things he just does NOT remember.

I had a hard time letting it all go yesterday.
