Honestly, things have been going well around here but they are going to be getting tough for the next 6 weeks!! My husband is a hunter and hunting season is upon us. I have always struggled with this time of the year, but this year is going to be an even bigger challenge. From now until the Sunday after Thanksgiving all of my h thoughtsare going to be consumed with hunting. I am not going to get any of his time, nor are the kids. H works afternoon shift so during the week he doesn't see the kids at all and now with hunting, he won't see them on the weekends either. That is really tough on them and they get all whiney and that stresses me out. I will not be getting my 15 hours of uninterupted time with my spouse the next 6 wks either, so this is really going to be tough. Not that h knows any of the Harley principles to know that as a couple we need 15 hrs a week. He still will not read any of the material or talk to a counselor. I do great when h is around, but am struggling still when he is gone.
Prayers for a calm spirit in me would be appreciated. Also, any advice on how not to lovebust are also needed
Now, if any of you have any cheese to go with this whine, I could probably use that too ![[Linked Image from marriagebuilders.com]](http://www.marriagebuilders.com/forum/images/icons/smile.gif)

Hey now ... deep breaths.
How about taking the kids and going somewhere fun for one of those weekends? Just staying at a hotel with a pool would make them happy campers!
One of those weekends how about re-arranging his closets and drawers for more efficiency? LOL
One of those weekends how about re-arranging all the furniture in every room of the house .... and hope that he comes home in the middle of the night, doesn't want to wake anyone, doesn't turn on any lights .... you finish the story!
Yeah, deer season used to bum me out, but not anymore. I love the solace ... wish he'd take the kids with him! LOL
hang tough!

How about a prayer that he bags his limit VERY quickly for whatever he is hunting? Of course I know guys that won't shoot the first couple weeks just so that doesn't happen...
Hugs.

------------------
Lor
"Do not get tired of doing what is right, for after awhile you will reap a harvest of blessings if you do not get discouraged and give up.
