You guys probably know as well as me that PA is tops on the list for my DH... I've been SLACK, relative to MYSELF,lately...doing just the basics..FOUNDATION, CONCEALER (of course), BLUSH, MASCARA.. Yesterday I got myself REAL PRETTY.. AND, MAN..I got LOTS of EXTRA ATTENTION...all day long... 
I made it happen..a joyful life..filled with peace, contentment, happiness and fabulocity.

So, NO, my DH is NOT particularly ATTRACTED to NATURAL BEAUTY... He likes for ME to "FIX UP" for HIM... I was in DENIAL when I thought differently... Makes sense...when WE were FIRST DATING, I would "FIX UP", wear something special, put on that special cologne...you know, the whole MATING RITUAL STUFF..  That needs to continue...shouldn't have stopped... This is the story of OUR RELATIONSHIP..not necessarily true of others, I know...

We had SO MUCH FUN with Rella, even washing dishes was great! AJ is big on natural beauty. During the A I dolled myself up, trying to out-glam the OW, as well as not look like a corpse. One of the first times I began to suspect my real H might be back was a few weeks into our real recovery, when he said, "You don't have to keep wearing that stuff if you don't want to, you know. I think you're beautiful just the way you are."  Everybody is different, and that's just fine, but it sure was good to hear my DH again. I'm not off the hook in the PA category, by any means. Even on the truck I try to look pretty and smell pretty as much as possible. Fortunately AJ thinks I'm cute even when I'm sweaty and scraggly and in need of a shower. (Probably because that gets him started thinking about showers, and then it's only a short step to taking showers....but I digress.) He gets me body wash and body spray and stuff, once in a great while a little perfume, but all so carefully chosen. I appreciate all the effort he takes. Well he also "deposited lots of love units in our marriage" today - sorry but that is our new favorite saying, lololol. He took me to such a BEAUTIFUL place, and something he knew I would really enjoy. I'll post my pix after I get them sent to me from my phone.

I was looking at those UGLY DARK CIRCLES under my eyes this morning...and then VOILA, with the handy, dandy miracle CONCEALER..not at trace.. Fortunately AJ thinks I'm cute even when I'm sweaty and scraggly and in need of a shower. Again, I CAN ONLY WISH... Yesterday, I came back from walking outside, doing my workout and my H says.."You smell like the outdoors"...Well, DUH..(rolling eyes icon) I was going to say, "you have it sooo easy"..but then again, I don't drive one of them big old trucks...

Heh heh, I'm not sure what else BESIDES the outdoors you are supposed to smell like after exercizing......outdoors. I KNOW... He thinks I'm MAGICAL..that I can exercise and still smell FRUITY.. The man is "IN LOVE" with me these days...thinks I NEVER STINK... OH, MY....

OH MY...THE "SHOWER GEL" OBSESSION..my secret to the EVER-DELICIOUS BODY AROMA...Yes, my H "smells on me".... This started with me since D-DAY... I've been known to have a collection of up to 5 bottles..lined up in my shower stall..using a different one each day...it's AROMATHERAPY, LADIES... I thought it was just me but the other day I almost laughed out loud at another lady in the grocery store gawking and obsessing over the COLLECTION on the soap aisle... I've resorted lately to buying ONE bottle there at THE GROCERY STORE, using that until it's EMPTY... I confess that it is definitely NOT working for me... Part of my JOIE DE VIVRE is GONE... Very, very soon I'll be back to B&B Works... Especially with me beginning to smell like the OUTDOORS...

Here is a sign of your influence.
I am going out right now to buy flowers to plant in my yard.
Last year, I was too distraught because of the A(still unknown to me at the time), the STD issue and the impending D-day.
And often times, I have said that it would be better NOT to spend the money.
NOT THIS YEAR!!!! I want a beautiful yard to reflect the hard work going on in my marriage and my soul. I am trusting God for a beautiful, fully recovered marriage and I want the whole world to see it.
