I have just ended a 8 year relationship. He ownes a business and I was working for him. Have been for 5 years. He comes in and tells me that his new woman will be working for now on. That means now I have no job. And then he takes my car. So no job and no ride for my 2 kids and myself. He has cheated on me and beat me for the last 5 years. When I first met him, he was sweet of course, and when I met his family, his sister told me he was going to hurt me and end up being a loser. Now I feel like my world has fallen apart. I just want to run away. His parents had to let me use a vehicle because SHE is driving my car now( for her kids). It hurts me that he wont come see his kids, or even call them. They cry for him every night. What can I do? All I have are my kids, and he tells me he’ll kill me if I do anything to him.

hey heidi, i have just re-joined this site and read your post first. are you married to this person? i would recommend hiring a lawyer stat. they can help you sort out the logistics, especially concerning the kids. i think that is so important, to have someone on your side to give you the facts, particularly from a legal standpoint. i know you are confused, but at least they can help you sort some of it out. i can relate to the end parts of your post...i am in the early stages of a separation/divorce myself with a very threatening man and know where you're coming from. its scary. i think it helps to have a calm, third party to give you solid advice. i hope i can help, and this site can help. i believe that with men like my hubby and yours it really helps to get outside professional views so you really know what you are dealing with and can sort out what is really fact and what is just a threat from the other party...does that make sense?
