Well, I keep telling him that he needs to get his employer to relocate his position close to me. The closest office that he would be likely to land in is only 8 or so hours away. This would allow lots more UNDERCOVER MISSIONS!!

I just needed to hand out some hugs today. I am not necessarily in a cheerful mood, but am doing everything I can to get there.....
The sun is finally out....YEAH.....I want to take FULL advantage of that and enjoy it. Especially since more rain is on the way.....(at the rate we are going we are going to end up like the Flood of '93....which btw is the year WS and I got married??? any parallels to that????).
I was in full GODDESS form yesterday. And I am just about there today.
Anyway, I am so proud of you all and our growth in this adventure....

So, the deal is - they are trying to get me to sign up to train for and participate in the Nike Marathon for Women....I would choose to walk the half-marathon.
However, I want to mentor for the race as it will reduce my fund-raising goal by about $1,000. That's right, if I take their bait today, I'm signing up to raise about $5,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. When I did the Country Music Half-Marathon in April 2007, I raised about $2,500.
My daughter wanted to do San Francisco but I'm hesitant because we would need to raise about $10K. I don't know what San Antonio or Phoenix would require.

They have TEAMS IN TRAINING where I live.
Do they provide TRAINING for WALKING? I have horrible knees.
