Another quick update....first time on this site since my last post over 6 months ago. Things are going v. well with the girl friend. Been going out with her for 14 months now; no major arguments to date!! Life is good again....still taking things slowly but I find it hard to believe my state of mind when I first posted over 2 years ago. Stay positive and be encouraged...the pain and loneliness from a divorce can resolve with time...

L4N,

I really appreciate your posts! They were a source of hope and encouragement for me!

Although I am awaiting my D to become final, my heart is truly heavy right now as me and my STBX are still in the marital home awaiting the final dissolution.

God Bless you dude!

Another update....still with the same girlfriend 4 years on. Life has been great again the last 4 years...we have travelled the world together, gone through life's usual ups and downs, and incredibly over the years, have not had any significant arguments. Starting to think about the "M" word again....stay positive everyone!
