My father went home to be with the Lord last night.

For those who talk with the Lord, please pray for my mother who has never been apart from her husband for 58 years.

Pray for my brothers and sisters, grandchildren and great grandchildren that they are comforted in this time of sorrow and that they will know the certainty of the love of God.

Thank you father, for being you, for your love and for your quiet model of being a servant of the Lord and a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather.

87 years. 75 without your own father. 58 with your wife. 57 with me.

Thank you Daddy.

Enjoy your life. I will see you soon enough, when all tears are wiped away. You ran the race. You finished well. Say hello to all those who have gone before.

I love you Dad.

You and your family are in my prayers. May the peace of our Lord be with you during this especially hard time and the days to come.
