Well, I took SHEBAS advise about the gifts. If you read my other thread ( Dont know if there is hoppe??? )or my profole you know that I'm trying to reconcile my marriage. Well today is thrus. I went to visit them like usual.
Last night I finally quit beating around the bush and told how I felt, and I'm not just doing it to get her back. She listened to every word and did not say that it was over like before.
Today before I went over there I went and got her some bath and shower stuff, and bought dinner for them. She seemed to like it. I guess. Befor I left she patted me on the chest, I asked for a hug she said maybe when I dont feel so uncomfortable. She knows she is in full controll right now and thats OK.
I did askher last night to postpone the divorce to see what happens and she said right now she is not ready for that. only 5 more days. I think this is good progress though. THANKS
------------------
brownphdt
Hi Brownphd -
I'm so glad that you two have progressed some.....YAY!!!
Don't worry about the "countdown" - this will take time....that's OK!!!
The important part here is for you to keep on this track with her....it WILL keep progressing if you do - no matter if papers get signed or not!!
Don't expect that they won't and you won't be devastated when they do!!
That is irrelevant (not in emotions for you, but in the context of your relationship improving with your wife like it just has) and is not something that can't be undone. Don't worry on it, God will handle things on that end.
You just keep up the good work!!
Maybe God wants a total renewal between you two..........
Hugs,
Sheba
