Medc and Introvert, Bringing this off of Rain's thread... I have seen just as much...if not more...success with the 2 x 4... Honestly, I think it depends on the wayward. I've seen the 2x4 work wonders with a WH, however, when it comes to a WW, not so much. Women...I mean a lot of women...are wired with a self flagellation chip already. Sometimes all it takes is a harsh word on the wrong day for their world to crumble...especially if the wrong day is THEIR FAULT. Medc, My tone was not meant to be waspish. I guess I'm a little bewildered about the whole 2x4 thing. He77, I'm a BH and I was hit with more 2x4's when I broke NC with my own W, then rain was while she is having an A. I'm no expert on pulling a WW out of the fog, but I do know that while you are discounting BH's negative comments on her OM in rain's thread, you are also defending her A. What's worse?

Thank you for the post. I will say that my experience has not been the same as yours here. I have seen just as much benefit with WW's as WH's.
I do not mean to dismiss what you say..I respect your opinion and views...I just see things and therefore approach things differently.

But you had a plan you were following which was that you were in NC with your wife?
Rain doesn't have a plan YET.
We have to get her to the plan.
We've got to introduce the plan to her and say, "See this plan? It's a great plan...it helps a lot...but there are some things you have to do in order for this plan to work...they aren't easy things, but in order to fix your life you need to do them..."
AND THEN you have to tell her what the plan entails and what she needs to do.
You didn't even get the bit in the horse's mouth before you threw the saddle on and then you wonder why the pony is bucking and braying...

Intro, I have seen just as much...if not more...success with the 2 x 4...and not a 2 x 4 was pulled out until the punches were throw by the wayward. Does this mean you believe you gain permission to do back to others what they have done to you? I know MEDC has told me that he will disrespect when others deserve it. I'd like to know your take because I believe it affects your recovery and marriage. Also, I see an all or nothing...either attack a WW with a 2x4 or the poster is defending the A. Would you like to consider the all or nothing POV in your recovery and marriage? LA

I think they mentioned that at this time it is cost prohibitive. It might've been someone else, tho.
Perhaps they could check out the books at their library.
Ours, in the little po-dunk county we used to live in, had a few of them.
