I watched a morning show yesterday and this couple was on who have just written a book called "Just Do It". The husband is a writer and was doing some research. He told his wife about some men who were grumbling about NOT having sex for 100 days or more. So, the wife turns it around and says..."hey, let's do the opposite...let's have sex for 100 days!" They were at that stage of your marriage where everything seems to revolve around children & jobs & money. Amazingly, this was a real kicker for them and it cemented their relationship and brought them to a new level. Can you do this? I'd love to give it a try but even before I begin I see roadblocks...time, children who NEVER sleep, H's job, one week of female downtime... Hmmm...this is something to really consider. Do you think you could take the challenge?

I spoke to my H about it and he was very excited at the idea. But, when all the dust settles, if we could not make the goal it would be because of him....and that wretched job of his. He has troubles carving out the proper amount of family time. He's learning, though. Maybe this would be a super tool. Let me know if you decide to start. Maybe we can pick a starting day and start a new thread to see who can do it.

Life may feel as if you are constantly getting kicked on a daily basis, living is about picking yourself up each day and going on and on and on regardless.

It's not a bad idea, but too "pre-planned" for my taste. It turns into a workout routine or something after a week or two. With kids at home, 98 of those end up being "quickies", which were fine when I was 22, but don't do it for me much anymore. By the way, there is no "one week of female down time".

What are you kidding me? I'm 58+ years old. I haven't had it one hundred times in 5 years of so. This would be a suicide pact for me. Enjoy your youth while you have it. All Blessings, Jerry

(((TFMM)))) My heart aches for you. I'd say I'd think of you during my 101 but I don't think H would find that appealing!!

Well since my W is in Switzerland for the next 5 weeks, I would say you have a distinct advantage over me.

Yep, I guess you better wait awhile!
I don't think the frequency will be very realistic for me either, nor the scheduling feeling about it. But, hey, who knows??

I could....not sure if DH would be up for the challenge though. I seem to be the energizer bunny more these days than he is. He likes the anticipation of waiting and the build up I guess. I'd even go for every other day. LOL!

After withdrawal, Squid embarked on a campaign of "reclaiming" me and demanded SF several times a day for a couple of months. Needed at the time I guess, but it was a pretty mundane thing to me after a week or two ! SF isn't top 5 in my EN list. Perhaps if Squid were prepared to "experiment" a little more I could manage a hundred days, but usually... well I'd rather have a cup of tea and a cuddle !

Agreed. I think H thinks he thinks it's a great idea, but a good cup of tea and the Phillies game is super for me. Oh, and a dual foot rub. We lay at opposite ends of the couch and rub each other's feet. Sometimes that's all it takes!

Several years ago, in response to an inquiry about this matter, some MB friends told me about his product: InsteadMy W takes Microgynon ED BC pills. Some months ago, we read something which indicated that if she continues just taking the yellow pills and ignore the red ones, her period would be suppressed. The nurse at the family planning clinit said it was Ok to do so, so she tried it, and it works.
