Jen- Life is good. I've been reading your posts, and glad that things are going well.
Let's see, I can't remember if I told you that I have a new man and am madly in love? Anyway, he is hot, younger than me, and adores me.
If you get a chance, can you check out Lildoggie's thread? She lives in your country - somewhere out with the cows, and is at the brink of recovery. Right now, she is singing to herself.

Lives in my country? Somewhere out with the cows? Don't you mean sheep? Hey lildoggie, pleased to meet you. I'm one of those dreaded JAFAs. Born and bred. OMG, B, a new man and madly in love? Is he the one who was waiting in the wings or another one?

A JAFA?? We have nothing to say to each other I'm in the 'Naki. No sheep here, just those cows. Which bit of Auckland do you live in? WH grandmother lives in Mt Roskill sort of. We were there about 4 weeks ago. Still way too many cars. Can't any of you walk??? LOL

Ah, the 'Naki. I have relations there. No, duh, we can't walk and we can't live without our flat whites. Edited to add I'm in the Eastern Suburbs. Yeah, I know, snobsville.

You know the first is always going to be the one we all think I dont really know the easten burbs, but I'll believe you about it being upper crust. What do you do for a living? Dont have to give me much detail, I know the rules. I'm a sharemilker, sole charge, 145 cows which start calving next week sometime.

Yes, Jen, it was cows. You can't milk SHEEP. Or can you?
My new gentelman caller is not the one waiting in the wings. I met my new one last year, and he is a keeper.

And don't worry, Jen knows all about giving out too much information.

B, that last remark cracked me up. So, you've found a keeper. I knew you would. Someone like you deserves every bit of happiness that comes your way. When you say "younger", er, how much younger?

Jen - He is 5 years younger. At first I thought he was too young, but now I don't notice it.
Our only problem is that he has to be gone a lot in his job. He works in construction contracts and the agency is short handed, so they are always sending him off somewhere. The first time it was for 3 months in Washington DC, and this time it is for one month.

Five years younger is nothing at "our" age.

I've been to Auckland. I remember the flower clock. I think we drove by a university. Ate at Bonaparte's. Long time ago, though. That's not desirable. Maybe we didn't drive by a university. It's been a really long time.
My paternal grandfather was younger than his wife. His oldest son was younger than his wife. The middle son (my dad) was younger than his wife. The youngest son was older than his wife. The Diplomat is younger than me. It must run in my family. (OOPS, x is younger than wife #2.)

I see it every time I have lunch in the park (which is just opposite my place of work).
