Not2Fun I don't mean to be a [censored], but can you please fix you signature? You have a bunch of blank spaces after the word "Carribean" that are showing up. Just go into your sig and place the cursor after that word and hold the delete key for a few seconds. Want2Stay p.s. LaLa says I'm anal......

Not...I never noticed before, but now I will be watching to see. HTM That's because I changed the sig line the other day. I took all info out back in March or April when WS had found me. Didn't matter though, because he found me anyway. So I figured I should put it back in for the newbies to have some info on my sitch..... not2fun

Hey silly girl--I called you back yesterday and left a message...PHONE TAG--YOU'RE IT!!!!! I love my new job. It is very laid back- only 6 of us there, so very quiet and no corporate DRAMA! Plus, the owner is a very good guy who takes care of his employees. I worked a full day on Friday (usually only work 8:30-1:00) and he paid me $50 (instead of $36) for the extra 3 hours, and gave me 4 free tix to the Indians game this Saturday so I could take the whole family. Since I am working right now through a temp agency, he knew they wouldn't pay me for being off for the 4th of July, so he gave me a $50 gas card. The girl who runs the office and that I am working with is totally cool and we get along very well. So, I think I've found a place I can work for a long time. Very flexible environment for having young kids. Want2Stay and I are doing very well. He still has his struggles from day to day, but overall, I feel we are continuing to move forward. I got pretty upset the other night...triggered and then depressed. We were watching "Intervention" and (this is kinda stupid) a commercial came on about those stomach bands that they put inside of you to lose weight...all of a sudden the months of W2S losing weight and not eating came back to me. I thought about how I wasn't even paying attention, and didn't really care. Looking back, he was going days without eating sometimes. I think about the hurt he went through during that time and I just get sick. So, I apologized to him for about the thousandth time and told him how much I love him and thanked him for sticking by me and giving me another chance. To which he replied, as he always does, "There was no other choice for me--you're the love of my life and the mother of my children." AnyHOO, I told my hubby to stop coming in here and causing trouble...he is ornery like that!

The parenthesis should be outside of the period ending the quote. As in: blah blah it."

We love you N2F! And to tell you the truth-- I didn't even notice the date stuff (and I know your sitch...), or the misspellings (although that one means a lot less since I can't spell worth crap...) E.

Hey, SL, the links in your sig line are too close together. I can't tell where one begins and the other ends. Fox (tucking my own sig line up so no one can critique)

Personally, I think the ellipsis at the end of the quote is meant to divide the quote from the quoter. So, really, it is correct to leave the quotation marks at the end of the quote and before the ellipsis. The ellipsis would be to show missing words or that the quote has more to it. I don't believe that is the case in Not2's quote.
