Now, in the above example, yes, the question marks should be at the end of the ellipsis.

Not2, I hope you don't think I'm taking this seriously. smile

Isn't it "punctUation", Not? I think you have "punctation". I'm not sure what punctation is. I'm pronouncing it "punk-tation" in my head and thinking it is what a teenage kid does when he wants to defy his parents...

Sorry, I had to get in on it. I was scrutinizing it to come up with something!

As it seems Not canNOT spell or use punctation or space correctly....she is banned from all use of the siggy line until further notice.......

ROFL

(I wanted to admit that my eye was twitching when you had all those spaces at the end of your posts, and I was proud to read them anyway)

Mea culpa.

The rule is (like anyone REALLY needs to know this...) If there is a vowel then just add "s." If there is a consonant before the "y" then change the "y" for "ies." And I think it applies to made-up words too but I'll have to check my MLA Handbook.

My H won't even let me read the stuff he writes. I was an English major in college and teach now. I just cannot let go of the habit.

You're a good sport. It's nice to have some fun here.

P.S. I use ellipsis incorrectly ALL the time...
