I am asking again...WHAT DO I DO? I want this recovery to work, but I don't know what to do?

HTM - just a suggestion about what you could do now.

Why don't you just ask him if he wants to be married?

If no, you have your answer.

If yes, then why not ask him if he thinks it takes both people working at doing what is needed to recover the marriage rather than just thinking it's all fine and will happen "magically?"

If yes, then ask him why it seems as though he stopped working at making needed changes that will benefit the marriage?

If you need an analogy in there somewhere, why not ask him if he thinks his "day job" will be successful if he doesn't do the "day to day" work necessary to result in a successful job?
