Newsweek has a dignity index -- "a weekly mathematical survey of dubious behavior that measures, on a scale of 1 to 100, just how low a person can go."
In the August 18th issue:
"Hats off to our first 100 - point scorer: John Edwards outclassed the competition by cheating on his wife, who has cancer, and then lying about it during the campaign. Ouch!"
Newsweek is going to be coming to our home for a long, long time. A mainstream publication taking a stand on affairs as an issue of character. A mainstream publication taking a stand to say that affairs matter.

I agree wholeheartedly.
I wish at least one major media outlet would produce an in-depth piece about John McCain's ongoing relationship with his affair partner.
His first wife had it pretty bad, too.

Widowed 11/10/12 after 35 years of marriage ********************* “In a sense now, I am homeless. For the home, the place of refuge, solitude, love-where my husband lived-no longer exists.” Joyce Carolyn Oates, A Widow's Story
