It's a shame that one of your actions is to help keep the scalpel in a hand that intends to murder an innocent child.

WHAT ACTION OF MINE, MEDC?

are you KIDDING. EXACTLY... IF you KNOW it is a BABY, you would still vote for someone that supports killing babies.

I NEVER SAID WHO I WAS VOTING FOR...DID I?

I LISTENED TO THE MCCAIN INTERVIEW..TRYING TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE...

To be honest, there's a GOOD CHANCE I won't vote. I haven't in awhile. I know that's BAD...

Isn't there a DIFFERENCE between PRO-ABORTION and PRO-CHOICE?

I'm DEFINITELY AGAINST ABORTION but I'm having a problem with the thought of the government CONTROLLING WOMEN'S BODIES...

AND won't ABORTION occur anyways..under UNSANITARY, UNHEALTHY CONDITIONS if it is not LEGALIZED?

NO MIMI, there is NO DIFFERENCE.

But you express no CARE or CONCERN for the one that was killed. THAT MAKES NO SENSE. The woman made a CHOICE, the one who was killed DID NOT.

See, what you don't GET, Mimi, is those women do not feel sorry for themselve like YOU DO. We feel GRIEF and SADNESS and PAIN that we killed our own loved ones. That is a GRIEF that does not go away.

Life's Little Instruction Book says NEVER believe anything someone says after they say... "To be honest."

Okay Mimi...sure.

I have had an abortion...Until my repentence from adultery I never thought about it...REALLY THOUGHT...After repenting though, ALL of the sinful things from my past came flooding towards me...The scales fell from my eyes and I saw just what I had done...I was horrified...I have repented for it all now...I wish so badly that I had seen all of this before...I deeply regret it...

I am firmly planted now in pro-life territory...I don't say much about it on the board, because as any of you that have read this thread know, ours is a house divided on this issue...So I remain silent, but I continue to pray...The power of a praying wife...pray

P.S. So you see, based upon my past and my repentence, there is no way in good conscience that I could vote for either McCain or Obama...

my heart goes out to you Mrs. W. I hope your conviction and prayer help bring your home together on this issue.

For those that stated earlier that Obama was attacking the sanctity of marriage there's this link:

McSame & the Federal Marriage Amendment

I also couldn't find the actual voting tally's but since the confirmation vote results for Justice Souter were 98-2, I am presuming that McSame supported pro-choice justice Souter's appointment to the Supreme Court (i.e. - Oh no, a candidate with blood on his adulterous hands)

IMO, the Republicans MUST maintain Roe v. Wade...how else could they possibly deceive millions of Christians to vote for them and vote against their financial interests??? The learned a long time ago...think Ronald Reagan, that Corporations don't vote. Corporations merely provide the money to fuel the fear-mongering and lying machine.

Don't believe me...well did you notice that when Gore's Florida recount case made it all the way to the US Supreme Court how conveniently the justices voted down party lines. They ARE NOT completely independent. They know their primary Republican agenda of usurping individual rights and protections is way too important to risk losing their Republican majority therein. As long as they keep winning Presidential elections with these deceitful tactics the less likely the "independent" court will actually take action against Roe v. Wade. What would motivate them to do so??? You see their relevance (the ability to get the cases they want heard, heard and the ability to actually author the big opinions) is directly attributable to maintaining their majority and if the Republican's actually succeed in overturning Roe v. Wade they won't continue to FOOL the single issue voters, they'll lose the Presidency and future appoitments and eventually, lose control of the court.

This thought just occurred to me...they MAY actually be more likely to overturn Roe v. Wade during an Obama Presidency in an effort to make a demonstration of his inability to protect such rights...making him a failure in the eyes of the NARAL.

In conclusion, a vote for Obama is much more likley to result in the Republican controlled Supreme Court reversing Roe v. Wade than a vote for McSame.

Mr. Wondering

p.s. - wanted to add this link about McSame's Story and deplorable treatment of women...such link has some interesting links in the right column including Gays4mccain.com

John's Story...women for McCain
