Hi vets, I have a friend that is in need of MB help but will not post here because their WS is lerking here daily. My friend has a question that would give away their identity.

Would anyone be willing to email my friend directly and help with this one thing? I know this is an odd request but could affect the outcome. If one or more are willing to do this, I will briefly post my friends email address here.

Thank you!!!

Several of us post our email addresses for exactly the reason you state. I check mine every three or four days.

Thank you Larry!!!

My friend will email you this evening. I will have them put the words "referred on MB" in the subject line.

Ok, I got the email. What I don't understand is why not post here. The email was so generic as to indicate that the BS has not done enough homework on the why's and wherefore's of affairs as available right here on this site.

It is the COMBINED experience of the participants of this support group that is effective, not the single or even several who are willing to exchange emails under limited circumstance.

That the wayward reads here is a plus, in my opinion. That would indicate a desire for information on his/her circumstances and would help with the fog, again, in my opinion.

What is the big secret? Anyway, I replied more or less as in this posting.

Thanks Pep smile

Anyway, more to the story. Typical script affair. Yes, kids, yes gaslighting all over the place, yes confused BS, yes BS needs help and needs an EDUCATION badly. Said call the Harleys and get a plan. Said study, etc., all the usual advice.

So why is wayward spouse (adultery) here? Hmmm, maybe picking up pointers for more effective gaslighting techniques, how to hide, how to make betrayed spouse look silly, who knows.

Maybe because he/she knows right from wrong and is having a serious conflict; that happens a LOT. Well, even if WS won't always admit it.

Just in case either is reading this:

The Other Person is not trustworthy. Why, because they too are committing adultery. They have possibly done it before. The way you feel NOW is called infatuation and that will go away leaving you feeling like the biggest fool in three counties. Yea, Yea, I know you call it love and would argue with me until the cows come home, but just ask ANY of the ex-adulterers on here and they will tell you it is true.

The biggest thing is to protect your kids. What you are doing is HARMING THEM. Don't believe it, pull your head out of your FOG and read to correct your ignorance and what you WANT to believe instead of what you NEED to believe to protect them. No, they aren't gonna be happy that you betrayed your spouse and yes, they are gonna blame you, and yes, you are setting a horrible and life changing example for them.

Proud of yourself?

Hope the person posts.

Larry
