I've called a handful of couselors/therapist today and asked about credential and cost and getting a wide range of costs (from $75 to $250/hr)

and I'm wondering what is a reasonable going rate to pay for couselling.

and yet another thread.
Is your goal to get help...or start threads?
ONE thread will yield you better results. People will NOT know your story and may tune you out with so many threads.

The costs for the Harley's are 185 and hour. As for the costs for a counselor local to you, they vary throughout the country. $100-175 seems to be the norm.

TP,

What about a focus shift? Rather than on the cost, how about the theory?

I asked for a Christian-based counselor, who knew of Harley's work and believed in it and was pro-marriage. God brought the added bonus that the MC also had a specialty in sexual addiction.

The cost was staggering to me, at first. Had to put my money where my heart was. I don't regret a penny of it.

Pray and know...you won't be ripped off because you can ask in the sessions for what you want...you're half of the counseling. And even at the highest rate, still cheaper than a divorce.
