I have been married for more than 15 years. My husband constantly flirts with women and has propositioned several subordinates, including his students and clients. We discussed the isue and he agreed to seek help. He admitted to his behavior and I gave him an amnesty period to come clean. I agreed to work on the marriage as long as he received help and I thought we were going to get past all of that. During the amnesty period he admitted to having an online dating account that I asked him about. Just today I found that he has several (5 at last count) online dating accounts. He told me that all of the dating accounts were from several years ago and he never met anyone. Some of the accounts are closed, but at least 1 was opened just last year. Two of the dating accounts state that he is seeking sex only. It seems he will only admit to whatever he is confronted with. Although I initially said I would work on the marriage, I am now ready to renege due to his continued lies and unwillingness to be honest about his behavior. Despite the number of years we have been together and all we have been through, I don't know if it is worth the work.

Fraggle,
Look in the yellow pages and schedule a polygraph. Its a few hundred dollars, but it can help you get all of the truth out there. Most of the time, a wayward spouse will unload everything just before the test. Don't back down and call off the test just because you think he is being honest. No matter what he admits to, go through with the test.

ex-WW had 2 PAs in first 2 years. Buh-bye.

fraggle,

The polygraph will help you with the honesty that you are so desperately seeking. Then you have to decide if you can be with this man who continues to seek something outside of your M. This is not an easy addiction to stop. The wayward will lie and promise you the moon, but just get better at hiding it.

Good luck.

Sorry you are here.
