Myrev, I usually respect your opinions...but, let me get one thing straight, I think you KNOW what you said is bs.

Children are afforded a great number of protections by our government. To suggest otherwise is either incredibly ignorant of that fact, or intentionally misleading.

Also, to generalize how republicans don't care about children after they are born is ridiculous.

I KNOW nothing of the sort.

MOST of these unwanted children will be born into poverty, and the Republican party has set their sights on destroying every social program funded through the federal government.

There is the connection ... if you support reducing social programs, while being pro-life, then IMHO, you are potentially subjecting an unwanted child to child abuse by requiring that the child be born into a situation where there is little if any financial or emotional support for that child.
