My husband and I are having problems. Here's my side of the story. I had a great job, made a lot of money and we traveled a lot, ate out a lot, just generally had a good time.
Well, I got laid off a few months ago. Things have gone downhill since. We had a credit card together (the only thing other than our mortgage that is joint). Now, we can't pay it, an it is all my fault. The creditor is calling him at work and he is mad, which I understand. But, not to be mad at me. He tells me he is miserable with everything. We haven't even touched each other in months. The other day, I rubbed his arm and he got mad.

I love him, but I can not keep going through this. I don't even feel like I am the same person I used to be. I have become so passive and let him get away with talking horribly to me.

First, take a temporary job somewhere until you find a better one. McDonalds is probably always hiring, and stores are hiring temps for Christmas. Bills are bills.

Second, read the material here about Love Busters. Learn what you shouldn't be doing, and stop doing it. After a couple weeks, read about Emotional Needs. Learn what his needs are and start meeting them - ALL of them.

Third, as soon as you get your permanent job, start a savings account and put 10% of your salary in there so you won't have another problem like this one with the bill.

There's lots of great information here about making your marriage stronger.
