Because of the car accident 7/21 I had an MRI scheduled for 9/4 @ 11:30 a.m. I get there and I had done a little self medication before hand just in case the Dr. didn't give me enough. Well no problems there. MRI went off without a hitch. My friend drove me and we picked up her daughter at school and we discussed her required reading. We picked up her son and we did "action fingers". Then we drove to Beverly Hills for daughters audition. I was the copilot and told her where to park and the best alley's to go down so we wouldn't be late. Everybody said I acted fine. They dropped me off at home around 4 or so. I came in and crawled into bed. I woke up around 10 p.m. and ate a bowl of cereal. And then it hit me. Pow!! I could not walk a single step further. I sank to the floor in the kitchen, pulled the cat bed over to me and fell asleep for I don't know how many hours. I woke up with my head on the cat pillow & Rudy curled under my arm. My legs were freezing from the tile floor. I must've been there at least 2 hrs. I got up, picked up the cat and took him back to bed with me. Then I was out again until nearly Noon on Friday. Crazy!! I've never had anything like that happen to me ever. But it's all good. I'm fine and now I can laugh about it. But I haven't told my mom yet and if you hear shrill screaming from Montana, that's her! Just another strange happening in my life. So laugh about this because it's funny. And yes, I know, no more vicodin or ativan before procedures.

Hey, I had an MRI on Friday!
Not meaning to whine on your thread. Your story was very funny. I just slipped up in my date thinking=======thought we'd had our MRIs on the same day but we didn't.
Nevermind me.
Otherwise, I loved your story. VERY FUNNY. I guess you felt sorta...... :crosseyedcrazy:

Vicodin and Ativan? That worries me. I have a neighbor who is addicted to Vicodin and passes out like that.

Oh yeah. Only 1 vicodin a day. And that's at bedtime. It hurts to lay flat on my back.
I told this story to my brother and he couldn't stop laughing.

Hey Sunshine girl - I know this might sound lame, but have you tried swimming in the evening? It is great exercise for your back and might wear you out so you sleep a bit longer at night. Time to move on from the drugs, or at least give it a shot. It also saves on the bills cos you come out clean so no need to heat the hot water! Good to hear from you. Glad Rudy is looking after you. TT
