OP nthefogg Member N Joined: Sep 2008 Posts: 78	OK... I have a few questions about these: 1) How does one 'sneak' it into the WS's vehicle? What's the best location to place one? 2) Of those that have used these, are there some better than others? Cost is definitely a factor here but I also need it to serve it's purpose 3) how often do you check it? 4) Do they save recordings wherein you can keep the ones of importance and delete those of non benefit? 5) easy places to purchase one, quickly? Any other information you have on this topic would be SOOO useful

Best to never reveal how you got evidence on how one found out their WS was having an affair. Because then the WS will be able to take measures to evade what ever you did to catch them. Drying up that method as a future source. Never heard of a BS going to jail for catching their WS having an affair by using a VADR. Best to try different spots. Under a dash most likely will not be seen. Taped so it won't rattle. Or taped to under side of the seat.

Don't ever tell how you got info and I would get severals days worth before any confrontation. WS's lie so readily like rats that it's best to have more ammo than one conversation.

Not really looking to use in court.. already have text's and plenty of photos... Just wanting to ensure I'm not being played anymore than I have although I suspect that I am... For me and my girls sake I need to know the decision I have to make is backed up by evidence of my own!

If the radio is playing, that will be recorded so I must ensure I get a recorder with enough time daily with the understanding that it will be recording the radio playing (or DVD when WH is bring the lil one to daycare)??

I had to scrub all of my recordings through some enhancement software, but the recorder came with it. You can't use them in court, but they are fantastic undeniable exposure tools. Play a recorded conversation to OMW in front of OM and watch the ensuing panic. I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

I would suggest that. Me 44, H 42, DS 16, DS 13 H/EA 4/07, D Day 10/17/07.. 500th d-day 10/14/08... NO RAIN...NO RAINBOWS!

Pariah Member P Joined: Apr 2006 Posts: 2,037	I sent most of my recordings into my Apple Macintosh using the application Garage Band and used it's sophisticated automatic equalizer to scrub out noise. Also, placement in the vehicle is also a key to good recordings. I had to experiment with the XW's car. behind the passenger seat in the map pocket worked great. My recorder is an older Panasonic, but there are much better ones out there. I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.
