Likely or not, he is old enough, with enough health issues, for me to consider the possibility seriously. I didn't say that others must follow my lead, I just said that it affects my calculus. YMMV.

I really thought you posted that link as a joke.

No, I don't think cancer is funny, but I think assuming McCain will live another 4 years because a Social Security actuarial table says so is hilarious.

Well this is just silly. Do we really need all these smokescreens? This is right from FH's "when did you stop beating your wife?" playbook.

You know full well what Krazy was laughing at, it was the idea of using actuarial tables for someone who has had four bouts with cancer (i.e. McCain). No need to try to get silly and imply that Krazy wants McCain to die from cancer, how absurd naughty.

For the record I would never wish that McCain would die of cancer.

Cancer takes too long.

Ok, good, b/c if you were laughing at the thought that McCain would die of cancer, that would be really sick.

Wanted to opine about the candidate's positions - this is a good a place as any:

Has anyone noticed how much Barak Obama has been agreeing with McCain lately? Is he turning conservative before our eyes?

His positions and debates during the primaries are totally counter to what he is saying now? He agreed with McCain in the debate at least half a dozen.

Will the real Obama stand up?

If you dont believe me - look it up.

Methinks its because that Liberals really cannot propose their ideas in a national debate and get elected. Clinton knew this but then I think we was a luke warm liberal at best anyway.

Yeah, that's why liberals never get elected.

Obama and McCain are bound to agree on some things. No two politicians couldn't possibly disagree 100% on EVERY issue.

Like agreeing with McCain that something needs to be done to fix the economy. Who thinks otherwise? At least Obama is honest about agreeing with McCain. Do you think McCain could deflate his enormous ego long enough to admit that he agrees with Obama on something? Anything?

Two weeks ago McCain said the fundamentals of our economy were strong. Today he said if a bill wasn't passed soon that we'd have an economic crisis on our hands.

Palin says she fought earmarks, yet she had a road to nowhere built.

Lying and backpeddling aren't the sole territory of liberals.

Hey anyone want to play?

I heard a rumor about this and googled it:

RULES OF THE SARAH PALIN VICE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE DRINKING GAME

--Take a chug of Moosehead beer whenever Sarah Palin says the following:

maverick

reformer

any sentence including the words "neighbor" and "Russia"

small-town values

Gwen or Joe (remember how many times Palin said "Charlie" during the Gibson interview?)

off shore oil drilling

Alaska

"Thanks but no thanks!"

witchcraft (not likely...but hey, you never know, especially if Kathleen Parker's name should pop up)

--Take two chugs of Moosehead whenever Sarah Palin does the following:

Utters a coherent sentence (i.e., contains a subject and a verb and makes logical sense)

Talks about her new friend Henry Kissinger or Hamid Karzai

Explains how being the part-time mayor of Wasilla, Alaska with a full-time city manager counts as executive experience

--Chug a whole bottle of Moosehead if Sarah Palin mentions the following:

Palin Presidency

On second thought, make that two bottles of Moosehead.

As far as the moderator's bias:

I think Gwen Ifill is a professional and I think she will do a completely objective job because she is a highly respected professional.

[I'm John McCain and I MADE this statement TODAY]

Palin and her ilk are supposed to be the ones to defend us from Al Qaeda, but in the last two days I've heard them whine about a Nancy Pelosi speech, and about the moderator of the VP debate.

Fight terrorism? Not those little ****edit****
