Brilliant, Jim!!
When I found the tell-all cell phone bills, I waited and called the # he was calling at the time of day he usually called the # (from a blocked phone). Of course some perky voice answered, with hip music playing in the background. I was shocked (total denial) and hung up. Yeah, I would have bought the Brooklyn Bridge back then. At any rate, I couldn't take it any longer, the suspense was killing me, so I called it at 10 that night. When she answered, I said "who's this?". Yeah, I did. Go figure, the # was changed by the next morning!
How did I finally find out who it was? It was months later!! I told you it was killing me! I eventually moved out of the house but still had a key. He was pretty much living with her. I went to the house during the day when he was working and snooped. His personal truck was always locked and he had a work vehicle. Well, I still had a key to the house so I went in the house and got the key to his truck!
In the truck, I found pictures of the two of them on some vacation tryst; I found credit card bills with hotel charges, etc. I think I found her business card. I felt like I was sneaking into the Kremlin and I was shaking. I made sure I put everything back in order and left. I got back to my new place and called my sister. I was in shock and my adrenaline was pumping. She managed to keep her head and told me to go back there and take pictures with my digital camera. Told me you never know what you might need for your divorce. So that's what I did. Oh yeah, he also had our bank statements and I took pictures of them so I could prove what the balance was when he left. I can't tell you how sick I felt that day. My head was spinning. I cried for about 3 months!
Oh well, it's all water under the bridge now. Sorry, got off on a little tangent there but hopefully it might help someone snoop.
