The past few years I have noticed an increase in swinging married couples. Is this my imagination or can this be a true trend?

I don't know for sure. But I do know for sure that they show up here looking for help when they wreck their marriages from swinging. What happens usually is one of the partners falls in love with a swinging partner and dumps the spouse.

It's not a new lifestyle; but a very old, tired FAILED "lifestyle" that ruins marriages.

lol @ the troll AND the judgementalism that followed.

I wish I could say something classy and inspirational, but that just wouldn't be (my) style.
