W just got divorce papers yesterday and called me immediately and had a fit. I know it was a fit because I've seen them before and this was definitely one of them.
I told her "they" were coming but she didn't believe me, well not till yesterday. I asked her if she was going to sign them in the morning since she goes in later in the day.
She said not tomorrow, maybe later in the week, doesn't want to be rushed going to lawyer and then work. I don't understand, it doesn't take that long to sign your name. I have a longer name then her and it only took me a few minutes and I spelled it right all four times.
Spoke to her again this AM. I asked her if she wanted to discuss the marriage/divorce. She said there's nothing to discuss anymore. I said OK. In the next breath she said that we maybe could date and see if there is any feelings between us. She is still mad that I started the paperwork.
She said her parents told her to sign them. I told her politely that I did not marry them and to thank them but up to this point they didn't want to get involved and now is not the time to show intrest in our relationship. I really wanted to use the Ace Ventura line, That's none of their damn business and I'll thank them to keep their nose out of my personal affairs. I figured that might be considered a Love Buster so did it diplomatically.
I just don't get it. Am I confused or does this make sense to any of you guys.
1. Doesn't want to come home to work on marriage.
2. Doesn't want to divorce.
3. Her "friendship" with Brian fizzled out.
I'll have to see what tomorrow brings. I think I need a decoder ring.
Wishing us all the best
Medic.

Medic, that is to be expected. She needs to work this out and withdrawing a bit and letting her figure it out just may be what she needs....
