My WW had an emotional affair with a coworker two months ago. We both say that we want us to work it out. We are going to counseling at the current time. My WW said the reason she went outside the marital walls was because she cant talk to me. So we have been talking in counseling. I have purchased two of Dr. Harley's books and printed out a lot of his articles to try to help us. I asked my WW if she would read a couple of the chapters which meant alot to me to help us better understand what is going on. She still has not done so,after many requests. I have read all the books and articles and would like to try the DR's priciples but feel like Im the only one trying. My W came home two weeks ago and told me she had taken a leave of absence from work to help us work things out since one of my big problems is that the OM and my WW still work together in the same office. She says that they dont speak but who really knows. Things were getting better for me becuse I knew she was not there with him and then her "leave of absence" two week vacation ended and now she is back there with the OM. I feel like I devote all my spare time seeking material to help us and she would rather watch tv or look for clothes on the internet. Is it possible for one devoted spouse to pull a marriage back together? She says she wants to. She took the EN questionnaire but she cant put it to use if she doesnt read to see what it is about. Im trying to get over the broken trust issue but am having a real hard time with it. Any suggestions on what to do?
