I was here a year ago as our marriage was on the dumps. After 2 months of change as I was alittle controlling our marriage for the last 10 months was great. You could feel the love and made plans for the future. Last 2 months I could sense my wife becoming distant again. When I asked last week if there was anything wrong and what her thoughts were about the last year she shocked me again. She said that she wants to leave, she said she feels like we are best friends and that she still loves me but doesn't feel like a couple. I ask to her to see some councilling but she said no. She is heading on a trip for four days with work next week and has alot of thinking to do. How can someone feel love and give love then just shut it off. I was wondering if she has seasonal mood disorder. We have been married for 23 years and I love her to pieces. She says there is no one else but how come the emediate turn off.

I would find out first who else is going on that trip with her (and assume at the same time that if I ask HER that information, she will probably not tell me the truth).

Time to start snooping.

See if you can get a PI at her destination and have her checked out. This sounds very very fishy, of course if you have been on this site for a long time, it sounds very very NORMAL for someone in an affair.

Don't forget cheaters lie, and liars lie.

I wish you the best.
