I'll bet the farm he'd rather stick hot needles in his eyes.

I'd be willing to take bets on who, should Aussie actually be taken to a doctor for a colonoscopy, would end up getting scoped! rotflmao

Kimmy--I read on the other thread that you're moving. I thought you weren't going to buy that house. What changed your mind?

We didn't buy THAT house.

We bought another, other house (say it 10 times fast).

I'm so excited!

Oh no TL

I always found packing and moving the BIG stress time!!! :MrEEk:

Especially using movement contactors 834634/350 ... the morons...Oops I mean movers grin ALWAYS lost something rant2 rant2 rant2

one year they lost the kids Christmas presents faint

Imagine trying to talk your way around a VERY SMART LITTLE 6 YR OLD DAUGHTER think skeptical "Mummy... I thought you said that Santa delivered the presents????"

I'm told its very much improved these days skeptical

Many years ago, when we were leaving HK for the first time, H's company arranged for packers to come and sort everything out. As I'd just had twins, I was more than happy to sit back whilst about 8 men whizzed around my house filling up boxes.

Later when I unpacked about 2 months later in another country, I found dirty toilet brushes, the laundry bin was packed containing dirty clothes, a bin containing rubbish including used diapers... Unpacking was a revelation! My wonderful collection of fridge magnets from all the places I'd travelled never arrived at its destination. I dread moving these days. I've lived in 10 different houses since I got married but have now been in my latest house 4 years and just signed a new 2 yr lease so this will be my record.

It's probably one of the reasons I love to go home to my parents. They still live in the flat I was born in! I have a real sense of security and comfort there. It's small, basic and was probably very cramped when we were growing up but it's a happy place for me.
