me:
i am stuck in a rut where my wife lies to me, hurts me, and has no intention of changing. You are talking to another man that has clearly hurt me before, and you have done it repeadetly. You repeatedly disregard my feelings and you justify your decision by saying that you dont understand whats worng with it.
OM is not the only problem, but the surrounding behaviour is the same as the behaviour surrounding other problems in our marriage.

W says:
it is obvious that he is your problem and mine and his friendship is no different then friendships you and i have had with other people, not sure why you are so threatened by him. And the fact that you do not trust me... when i have never givin you a reason no to trust me. We have both moved foward in our lives and we are simply friends. and i am not sure how to explain or why i even have to with out making you more mad or hurt

No, it's a problem that SHE doesn't see that it's wrong to have a male friend outside of the marriage

She's giving you reason to not trust her by having a male 'friend'. rant2

"Just Friends" is one of the deadliest phrases to a marriage.

"Just Friends" is one of the deadliest phrases to a marriage.

she just told me that she is sorry for liying, and she should have told me about him when he contacted her again to tell me AND that she should have told me that she will not let me dictate who her friends are.

so I said, "you're right, I cannot dictate who you have as friends, but I can dictate what I am willing to put up with in this marriage"

beating the same ol wall, getting nowhere, marriage certainly over.

Yes it's typical fog and it's scary that you still hear it more than 2 years after your registration date.

Many a good man has failed because he had a wishbone where his backbone should have been.

We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot.
