Thanksgiving for us is a time to remember our blessings through the last year.....

For me, though the year was hard, there is much to be Thankful for.....

For me, I am THANKFUL for this place and the many many people who reached out to me in my darkest hours.......you all held my hand, gave me hugs, calmed my soul during the times when there was no rest. You cheered me on, made me laugh, kept my spirits up when nothing else in life would.....

You gave me advice, scolded me when needed, didn't let me fall.....and even when I did anyway, you made me pick myself up and get back on the horse.....

Your love was tender, your love was tough, at times it was all I had and needed, even when I didn't....

Without you all.....who knows where life would have gone.....

You opened your hearts, shared your painful experiences, all in order for me to gain a sense of order in my life.......


For that I thank you all.....

I, too, am ever so grateful to MB and all of it's members, who have helped me and my MB friends thru some really heavy stuff. We are survivors partly due to the first aide we received here.

You keep chuggin along girl, don't give up.

You gave me warm fuzzies. My children have gone to their dad's. I did see my mom this morning but I had to get children home so their dad could pick them up and so mom could go to my sister's this afternoon. That silly sister of mine won't really speak to me. I'm not getting to spend Thanksgiving with The Diplomat for the first time since 2001. So, I'm spending the afternoon with the dog. And I was having a bit of a pity party.

You are a guiding light in so many of our lives. You helped me find G-ds words on some of the darkest days. You helped me to keep moving forward by reaching for G-d and leaning on him and understanding that he was all I needed, when I didn't believe it.

I agree with Not, we are so blessed to have this place during this time in our life. Literally people on here are saving human lives. Some of us, would NOT have made it if it weren't for you and your kindness, caring, giving and understanding.

G-d is very proud of us and the role we try to live in each others lives as we walk through this time.

Where there is BAD, G-d will turn to GOOD...

You are the GOOD....

I think it is more a case of where there is bad, He will use it for GOOD. Bad still is bad, but He can even use THAT for His good.

And so you know, HE is the one that is GOOD.

I am just available when He wants me to do something...

And unfortunately not all the time. Sometimes He has to get my attention first. :twobyfour:

The most dangerous six words you can speak to God are "Here I am Lord; use me..." He will turn your life upside down and inside out if you say those words and mean them.
