Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I've lurked for more than a year but today I felt compelled to take the big step and register! LOL I had something to say!

Since all family is across the country, I'm alone this year with my DDs, WH moved in with the HW and decided he would just see the girls on Friday, so we are just trying to make the best of the day. As hard as that is, I've been thinking- not about what is NOT here, but what is. We are blessed with each other, health, the income to pay our bills and a home. In the next few weeks we will move back home and that will be a blessing as well. Of course none of this would be possible without God's abundant grace and faithfulness.

What are you thankful for today? (and everyday!)

Happy Thanksgiving Happytobe,

I'm glad you registered and are a part of us. I'm sorry for the pain, but man do I admire your strength and willingness of acceptance.

I hope you had a great day and look forward to getting to know you better.

Thanks, I'm sorry I have to be here, but glad that it is here for me & everyone else too!
By the way, I have my bitter person days too! LOL
Our day was good, we had a good meal, watched the traditional Christmas movie (or two!) and played board games. Went really well until WH texted the girls about 8 pm to tell them he wanted to take them to a movie today. No "hope you had a good day" or "Happy Thanksgiving" kinda acted like it was any other day. It really ticked them off & they sent him a text back that would have devestated a non foggy person. I felt really sorry for the girls, but somehow I think it made them feel better.
I remembered this morning that today is our little dogs birthday and woke the girls up singing happy birthday to her. We are throwing a parrrr-teeee!! dance2 (Remember that part about God's abundant grace and faithfulness?? We REALLY NEEDED A REASON TO CELEBRATE! Who knew?) So, happy, happy day day Maggie! She is 4!
